F.M. Brown's Sons, Inc. recently held an essay contest for 4-H Clubs in four different regions of Pennsylvania and New Jersey for two different age groups in each of the areas. The winners received a registered Holstein March calf purchased by F.M. Brown's Sons, Inc. The 4-H member had to answer two questions in their essay: (1) why they wanted a registered Holstein; and (2) how he or she would take care of this calf from birth to first calving.  Allison Shuey (age 15) and Eric Hill (age 10) both entered and both won the contest for their age group!
